Virtual Envronments - The Artifice and The Virtual - Research - Norm

Norm are a group of graphic and typography designers based in Zurich. They investigate into the notion that all objects on the planet can be put into 4 distinct groups and catogorised. Through this analysis of these groups they then create graphical rperesentations and programs to visualise their theories, one such example is the "Sign Generator" under the heading "The Things." Another resource of their work is the book they published called "Norm The Things" in 2002. Here they delve in further into their notion that all objects can be pidgen holed into certain boxes. The next thing I need to do now his start looking at other peoples interpritations of their work and investigate other theories and arguements.
